Little bird house

well I spent the day making a bird house. Just love it, especially the 'tiles' on the roof. have not decided whether to put 'home sweet home' or 'welcome home' on the front yet. Will see what comes to mind in the next few hours. made from Rosies pearlised card stock shades of purple.

I just love the create a critter cart!! not sure what I am going to do with these little critters yet but I am sure they will tell me if I leave them sitting here for a while.

An Apple!!

I just love this apple!!! I think I will put it on the top of a box (have to make the box yet). I made this from the create a critter cartridge. On page 49 (the koala bear) shift layer 1 has a heart (it is a heart shaped balloon) - I cut 25 of them then cut off the bottom little bit to make it flat. folded each heart in half (pattern of paper to inside) and glued them together in a stack. I cut the stork and leaf from page 61 shift accessory and then just trimmed it with my scissors. I inked the edges of the hearts with 'ruby red' on the top part and sage shadow on the bottom part both are stampin up stamp pads. Well I am now off to make a box for it to sit on.
