cookie box

made this cute oval box (George Basic Shapes) and popped a cookies jar from Elmo's cartridge (great to borrow carts from friends), added a ribbon and filled with mini choc chip cookies for my gym trainer.

Cereal carton

have made this from a cereal box, covered with paper and put a wee branch (from a stampin up bird punch), popped a wee butterfly on the leaf and stuck them to the right hand side of each compartment. Did the butterfly on the front, stuck the 'body' to a blackout of it and put it onto the green card with a wobble. when you tap the large butterfly it wobbles from side to side. Wobble and paper came from my lovely friend in Florida. Could be used for keeping recipes or for keeping cuttlebug embossing folders (if you have too many you can always make another cereal carton holder ha ha)

explosion box

another explosion box. this time I have made each of the inside panels different. I thought that it would look a bit muddly but I think it really works well. I am quite pleased with the finished product.

one piece box

made from a pattern for a 'one piece box' I added a second layer to make it an explosion box.

Note box

from Splitcoaststampers this was the task to do. It is a little box of note paper. I have used white card for the box and stamped the sides with the same stamp that I have used on each sheet of paper the you see here. I have stamped 50 sheets of paper each with the flower stamp to pop inside the box. I used the 'butterfly & bird" embellishment and taped it to the ribbon to hold the papers down (just in case the wind is blowing when you have it open). the lid is from clear assatate and has a butterfly and a half scalloped circle with a wee bow at the top and 'note paper' written on it. I have made this for a friend who is always writing notes for things. The instructions were very easy to follow for a newbee like me. Thank you Splitcoaststampers.

ball decoration

two balls. great for Christmas decorations. by removing the two brads you can open the ball and pop in some goodies or a small gift. Saw this on youtube, however the demonstration was in Spanish so it took me a while to understand and actually make it. Once I had made one the 2nd was much easier, though I still had to go back to the demonstration. Maybe I should learn Spanish!! love it though.

cuttlebug box 2

another little cuttlebug cut box. this time I lined the little drawer with dark blue felt.
