I saw this on a youtube and had to try it. It is a bit of a fiddle and if I did it again I would put it together in a different order. We live and learn!! I quite like the finished effect but would be nice to have some access into one of the boxes so a gift could be added. Could always add a gift card to the decoration. Also thought that I might try folding $5 notes in half longways and rolling them into a flower - not sure if that would work. If anyone has tried it could you let me know. I think the flowers being money would make a wonderful gift.

mushroom log
thought I would make this as I wanted to use the little peachy keen face stamps. First time I have used them and they are soooo cute.
ran the brown card through the woodgrain cuttlebug folder, cut the mushrooms from create a critter (pg32). love it!! would like to put something other than choc's in it - maybe a small face cloth and lip gloss?????

Thomas Tank Engine
This is my first attempt at a 'canvas' and I am quite pleased. I have a darling wee boy in my life who just LOVES Thomas the Tank Engine.
The canvas is a 10x10 size and I used SU inks to do the sky and grass as a base. Thomas and Percy are cut on my Cricut E2 from George Basic Shapes, and the letters are also cut from here. The railway lines I cut by hand. the tree is from the Cindy Loo cartridge and the aeroplane is from a box of wood embelishments. I used Ice Stickles - crystal ice on the very edge of the plane wings and the nose of the plane. I used a SU marker to dot some green grass around the base of the tree. I am actually quite pleased with the end result - hope my 'little man' is pleased with it too.

bird cage card
I made this card from the 'creative cards' cricut cartridge. I like cards that 'move' and the bird cage swings nicely in this one. I have added some leaves and berries up the side and a bird and butterfly on the inside. I like the 'hang in there' sentiment. I am going to enter it in the 'bitten by the bug 2' weekly challenge.

Album for twins
I made this for a young lady expecting twins soon. I will put their names on the outside when we know the names (both girls apparantly).
this is the inside and I have done it in red pink and yellow and used pages from a crafters choice Happy Owl stack. card stock is from stampin up. Have left places for her to add photos and places for her to journal. (hope she likes it).
took forever for me to work it out but got there in the end. Guess who was my inspiration??? of course my dear sister Flo.
