Back Pack

 I spent a day making a 'back pack' for our gym trainer. first pic is the front with a 'pocket' at the bottom.
Next pic is the back showing the straps





this is the side with a tiny lanyard with a 'swipe card' attached. the wee

swipe card fits into the criss-cross pocket on the side of the bag.

 This is the other side with the white strip half way up. in the middle of the white strip is the words 'workout on your terms'

 In the front pocket I made a 'business card' and popped in the pocket

 I used red felt and embroidered the letters on with white cotton, then rolled it up to go into the backpac as a towel. Also in the pack I put a wee drink bottle and a small round container with some jelly beans. Of course it is great to do a workout with headphones on so I just had to make these cute headphones to go in the bag too.

I am rather pleased with how this has turned out and do hope that he likes it.

butterflys

I decided to try and make a box with butterflies. I welded two butterflies at the wing tips (on the gypsy) from the Gypsy wanderings cart. Cut two thus giving me 4 butterflies. I made a box-bottom with the sides just 1cm high and stuck the butterflies to it. I used florist wire to go from one corner to the other. covered on with red ribbon and made red butterflies and flowers and cut greenery to put up the other wire. I cut the same butterfly as in the sides (just smaller) to go on the top. To make it into a 'hanging' basket I put ribbon through the top butterfly wings and under the wire at the top - it worked well but I want to do it in white ribbon so have taken the red out at the moment.  I am very pleased with the outcome of this. may have another go.

where the butterflys are 'double sided taped' to the base of the box it left a wee gap so I covered it in glitter - I thought it turned out quite effective.
I think i will make a large bow of ribbon and sit it in the basket - not sure yet.

Jetts Olympics 2

made our terrific male trainer similar to the girls. coffee mug in holder with coffee, hot choc, tea and sugar. did not want to give him a little bag so made this fabulous suit jacket and shirt. I have put a thin cord around the neck and added a wee gold medal which says 'best male trainer'. Shirt comes from Tags Bags Boxes and More 2. I was really pleased with how this turned out. Do hope that they like them and we get extra points ha ha.

Jetts Gym Olympics

our gym is holding a fun 'Olympics' during the official Olympic Games. You enter each of 8 events and medals will be awarded. Events are: run 1km, bike 5km, distance rowed in 2 min, # pull ups, # bench press, # squats, # shoulder press, ? you can hold the 'plank' position. The staff have put up some fun rules. They have also added that bribes are accepted. So my gym buddy and I decided to "bribe". I made the coffee cups from Tags,Bags,Boxes and More 2 and filled them with a Hazelnut Coffee, a Hot Chocolate, a Tea Bag and I made a 'pillow box' and put a wee plastic bag of sugar in it and added to the coffee mugs. Then made the 'holder' to put them in. Oh and I put their initial on the front of their mug along with the Olympic Rings. The 3 girls I put in one 'holder'. Then made wee bags and put in a bite size choc bar and some choc medals. These pics show the front and the back of the bag. (made 3 the same). We are going to take them in tomorrow - Oh my hope they don't check out my blog before tomorrow!!!!
