Lucas's trip for Christmas

I do hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas and that 2017 will be a great year. Over the past few weeks I have been keeping a big secret. Our daughter was talking to me and was a little sad that she would be spending Christmas alone as most of her friends were going to their home country's for the holidays and she was unable to come home. SO we decided as a big suprise we would arranged for our grandson (who is 21yr) to go visit with his mum in Abu Dhabi for Christmas.

Firstly we created a 'fictional friend' named 'Jan" who was going to go to Dubai and needed someone to pick her up and take her to her hotel. Our daughter was delighted to be able to pick up a NZ'er and especially as the fictional Jan was from Palmerston North. It was quite hard work asking questions to get information from her so that we would know that she was actually going to be home for Christmas. We spoke often on skype and each time I talked a little more and asked a few more questions. Seems she managed to get several days off over Christmas - that was good. Then she had to work on the day that he was flying in, so she said 'don't worry, tell 'Jan' (our fictional friend) that I will swap a shift and be there to get her. Then she started asking questions like - how long is she staying? would she like to stay with me? is she visiting family here? Oh dear, I did have to dodge some of those questions.

Well the day came and my sister and I took our grandson to Auckland to catch the flight to Dubai. He boarded the flight and was off on his great surprise journey.  I stayed up most of the night and all the next day I was on my laptop with fb up waiting for him to let us know how things went. He text me from Brisbane, then again when he landed in Dubai. He headed out to the arrivals and text me to say she was not there. I told him to just wait, all would be well, she was probably parking the car. We waited and 5 minutes later the video came up!!!! he walked along the arrivals isle and saw her holding a sign "JAN" he walked up and said 'hi'!! she was sooooo surprised so with lots of tears and laughter and questions they met again. She asked 'is Jan coming' - he laughed and said 'no, I am 'Jan' she is not real'

Enjoy your Christmas both of you - with all our love.

I will try and find some way of putting the video up on here. not sure how so need to ask an expert for help to do.

I big thank you to my sister for coming with us to the airport, for keeping me calm though the excitement, and also a big thank you to our friend in Hamilton who put us up for a few nights before we went to Auckland and when we came back.

next trip will be going up to Auckland to get him when he returns!!

in the mean time I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and remember it is all about family and the love between you.

Sunday 16th

Hi all,
have managed to get through this week with all it's drama and had a few laughs along the way.

What wonderful classes I have had this week - everyone is so nice and it is soooo relaxing with us all doing such lovely cards. It is great to have new people along and I do hope that you enjoyed it and come again.

I spent an evening with a good friend and we played with the new MISTI (Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented) - you know when you stamp a stamp and only part of it turns out right - it is soooo frustrating, well now with the MISTI you are able to put your card stock on the misti base, place your un-inked stamp where you want it, close the misti (which will pick up the stamp), open the misti, ink your stamp, close the misti and Wha La you have stamped your stamp exactly where you want it - but oh no - only part of it stamped clearly - no problem, just leave everything where it is, re-ink your stamp and re-stamp it!! because it is attached to the misti it will re-stamp EXACTLY where the first one was - Yeh a perfect stamp!!  NOW do you have those stamps that either have several parts to them that overlay each other, or a flower head as one stamp the stem as another stamp and the leaves as yet another stamp - I find it difficult to stamp them all so that they look connected, or so they look great overlayed. With the misti it is soooo easy - once again you put the first stamp on and stamp it, leave your card stock where it is, place the 2nd layer and repeat with the misti, then other layers. it works really well. Oh just in case you are wondering NO I do NOT sell the misti, I am just giving you MY thoughts on it.
the two roses and the leaves were done using the misti. I have to admit that this is the first time I had used this stamp set as I can NEVER line up the layers right by hand. the flower has 3 layers and so does the leaf. I was impressed as the 3rd leaf stamp is so tiny but makes such a difference to the finished product. (yes the stamp set comes with the dies to cut the flower and leaf).

The parcels of cards and tags that I send to Rae are being received with great excitement. She has now received the last parcel that I sent - it does take several weeks to reach her, however there is much pleasure from the recipients when the parcels arrive.  I am now continuing to gather for the next one to sent.

On the 29th October Flo and I are off to Wellington to teach Design Space to a group of ladies who have bought the new Cricut machine.

Card classes here in November are on Tue 8th - Wed 9th - Thur 10th - and Sat 12th. If you are interested in coming along to any of these classes just give me a call (3533880, or email: madgeb@xtra.co.nz) love to have you along.

Then on 21st November Flo Joycelyn and I are off to Sydney for some inspiration, new ideas and well yes I guess some shopping.

Then December will be upon us!! whatever happened to 2016 - it seems to have gone soooo fast.

Well I am off to prepare for some more classes so will come back on my blog again soon.

October Newsletter

Madge’s Newsletter
October 2016
Hi All,

Well first of all I must apologise for not putting this newsletter out sooner!!!  Sometimes things ‘just happen’ and not all goes according to plan. I have to admit some of it was my fault, as some of you know I met with 6 friends in Hamilton for a weekend ‘cricut-ing’. My weekend started on the Friday morning at 4am when I went to work, then at 8am off to Massey, at 11.30am was picked up by a friend and quickly loaded the car and we were off to meet another friend on the way. Changed cars and we were finally on the way to Hamilton. Arrived and to cut a long story short by the time I got home on Sunday evening I had had about 6 hours sleep during the whole weekend!!! But oh what fun we had. Especially as it was my birthday while I was away and the girls did an awesome job of surprising me with tooters/balloons/and singing happy birthday and I had the special luxury of having TWO birthday cakes. For many years in our family I have had a little critter that when you press his foot he dances and sings happy birthday. As my children have gotten older they always try to hide it when it is their birthday so that I don’t play it, however they never win and I always play it. My darling husband phoned me the morning of my birthday and when I answered the phone guess what was playing through the phone!!! Yes the little critter singing. We laughed soooo much. So a big thank you to everyone who was a part of setting everything up and to Julia and Heather for my lovely cakes.
Now, once I got home from the weekend, with very little sleep, I was off to work at 4.30am on the Monday morning!! Tried hard to catch up on things during the week, to little avail and then on the Friday a 4wd decided that the side of my car was rather plain and could do with some definition!! So I am driving a car with much ‘definition’ on the side and waiting for the panel beater to do some ‘doctoring ‘ to it.  With everything that was going on the news letter did not get written, sorry.
Love to hear from anyone who has had a more eventful week!!!

on   December 4th  we will be having our final ‘party for the year’ so do mark this date on your calendar and be prepared to have a great time with lots of prizes and fun. The day will be from 1.30pm till 4.00 ‘ish.

I will be in Australia from 21st to 29th November – having some ‘information gathering’ and of course a little shopping spree.

To those of you who have been unwell, I do hope that you are recovering and I look forward to seeing you all at card class in November.

tidy up time

Just spent all day tidying up my craft room cupboards and getting things a bit more organised. Amazing how many things I found that I had been looking for or forgotten I had!! I think it pays to have a good sort out once in a while, and as I have such a busy week next week I thought it was a good time to do it. Time for a hot choc break and then come back and finish off.

Madges Newsletter
August 2016

What a great weekend we had at Wellington Paper Arts!! Lovely craft stalls, lovely people!! Congrats to those of you who now have a Cricut buzzing away at your house.  I finally got my voice back after so much talking!

I am looking at holding a ‘Cricut day” in Wellington soon, so if you have a Cricut and are in the Wellington area keep watch for when that will be – soon I hope!!

As some of you will have seen Three Little Whimzee’s have finally moved into their lovely new premises at 50 Devonport Road in Tauranga. If you are not near Tauranga do check out their website (3littlewhimzee.nz) with the lovely items they have for sale.  Also Cricut supplies.  Flo has been cutting like crazy for them and things are looking really lovely. Congratulation to Juliet and Dion, hope you do well and prosper in the new premises.

STOP PRESS STOP PRESS: oh no! I have just heard Dion and Juliet had their truck broken into and heaps of their lovely stuff has been stolen!! What a horrible thing to happen – however they are on to it and will be up and running again by Friday 2nd.  Lets hope that the people who did this get caught!!!

Back in the Manawatu – we have had a couple of ‘cricut days’ and are looking forward to having them at least once a month on a regular basis.  Will let everyone know when we have sorted the dates. I would like these sessions to be for very new to very experienced people. The idea is to share ideas and knowledge with each other. For those new to Cricut I would like to be able to have some one-on-one time.  If you are interested please let me know so I can make sure you are kept informed.

Our Card Class Dates for September are:

Tuesday 13th                        10.30am
Wednesday 14th                 6.45pm
Thursday 15th                      1.30pm and 6.45pm
Saturday 17th                      10.30 am and 1.30pm

Dare I say…. It will only be 14 weeks to Christmas!!! I know that some of you are getting started with Christmas cards and decorations, especially those that need to be posted overseas. The days do seem to go by quickly and I often sit here and wonder ‘what happened to 2016” It seems to have flown by!!

I decided in all the busy-ness that I needed a ‘time out’ so a couple of weeks ago I went to see Poi E the movie – I found it very informative, a lovely movie to watch, and SO enjoyed the music. Then earlier this week I went and saw Shallows – the one about the shark!! If you enjoy surfing and swimming in the sea it is probably not the movie you want to see (ha ha) – however I did enjoy it. I was pleased that I went during the day as I do not think that I would have slept well if I had gone at night!! And having a surfing grandson – well I wont think about that!!

Young Zak came and spent the weekend with us and wanted to do ‘something on the Cricut’ – so this is what he made… He choose what to make and what to put on it…a box with ‘happy father’s day’ on it for his dad.  He used my Cricut very well!!  Naturally we had to fill box with lollies!
New little baby sister is doing very well and at one month old is sleeping through the night!!

I am trying to keep my blog up to date – so you may like to follow my blog on madgescreations.blogspot.co.nz

I know that some of you have been unwell, especially with the cold and wind that we have had here. I do hope that you are all starting to feel heaps better as we head into the nicer weather.

Remember, come to card class for two consecutive months and go in the draw for a goodie bag.

Happy crafting,

Madge

june 2016 (2nd newsletter)

MADGES NEWSLETTER

JUNE 2016   (2nd one)

This is the 2nd newsletter for June – I did say I would get one out last Sunday, but hey, a week late is not too bad!! After all I did do a newsletter earlier in June.

Have been very busy this last week with working and I think I am suffering from withdrawals from not being out here in the craft room!! One more week of full on work and then I can get back into it again.

I do hope that those of you who went to the Feilding Craft Fair enjoyed it, unfortunately I was unable to make it this year – my wallet was quite thankfull!!
A big thank you to Warehouse Stationery Palmerston North who put on an Art and Craft night, they do a great job and had a number of items being demonstrated with some make-n-take tables too. The staff are great and I am sure that everyone that went had a lovely time.  Great for shopping for those bits and pieces that you need, and also for those things that you were not sure how to use, like the different kinds of ‘boards’. Great to have them demonstrated before you purchase. I saw a number of young people very proud of their painting/stencilling make-n-takes.  Well done Warehouse Stationery.

We have had our June classes, and once again I have been in awe at your creations!!

here are some of the heart cards.

And oh what fun we had making the tunnel cards – well done everyone

Since my last newsletter I have been busy as a bee……

Well I know that our household is a busy one even with just 3 or sometimes 4 of us, however I got to this point in the newsletter last night when I had to go off to work for a couple of hours. Got home to find no-one home ??? strange. Then, to cut a long story short, husband arrived to say we need to go to hospital. Our daughter was in her car and had a bit of a debate with the bank on the side of the road!!! Daughter ok but will be black and blue in the coming days – car not so well off. All good in the end, cars can be replaced.
So you see, I never quite know what is going to happen here.

Now to continue with the newsletter for a few minutes before I head out to Massey…..

Cricut news:  yes it looks very promising. Flo has been chatting on skype to Cricut and it is looking good. Flo is working with Three Little Whimzee to get the Cricut into New Zealand so if you are interested in one please do let me know or contact Flo. If you are in the Bay of Plenty area do pop into Three Little Whimzee shop (in Tauranga) and have a chat to them and see the lovely items in their new shop.
Tuition: For those of you who are in the Manawatu area Flo will be here at the end of July so if you want to check out the Cricut or have some tuition please let me know.

Porirua: The Wellington Paper Arts is on in Porirua 20th and 21st August so pop those dates in your diary. It is a great day (or 2) out.

Our Craftroom Update:  yeh finally the new chairs have arrived.  They came in a VERY large box and once I had managed to get the chairs out of it the little kitten thought that it was just a wonderful tunnel to run and play in!! Anyway the chairs do look nice, and hopefully those of you who come to class will find them nice and comfortable.

OK, so now another week has gone by….
Who won the April/May bi-monthly prize???

           Congratulations
                       Lois

cot card and flower card

Have made this cot card for a friend who has a baby due soon, plus the flower card for the 'older sister'. Made from SVG cuts. I am quite pleased with them and a big thanks to two friends who came and chatted and helped for the afternoon. It is good to have someone to chat to and run things past and to make suggestions when crafting.

yes that is my thumb on the left hand side while I take the pic - sorry ha ha.

8th June 2016

I am still trying to sort a way of storing my inkpads so I can see them clearly - got some ideas that I am working on so will see how I go. All ready and looking forward to class tonight.
Seem to have a few things on the go at the moment so it is good to be busy, especially with our cold mornings, though they do seem to bring pleasant days. Am hoping to get some more cutting done on the cricut over the next couple of days - trouble is people in this house seem to think that they need to eat!!! so have to stop and do meals ha ha.
I love the fact that Flo was able to spend 10 days crafting!!! Looking forward to having her here again in July even if it only for a few days.
Looking forward to class tonight so must fly now, be back with pics from the class.

Tool Card, Classic Car Card

It's been a busy week however I have managed to get a couple of things done as well as getting prepared for classes this week. I am really looking forward to this weeks classes as we are doing some lovely cards, which I will put up after the classes. In the mean time here is a couple that I have done,  The Classic Car is from the CTMH Artfully Sent cartridge, I have not added any embelishments to it yet - it is straight from the cartridge.  The tool card I saw done and cannot remember where, I have changed it a little but the idea was great, so to whoever it was I thank you for the idea. The tools are cut from creative cuts svg and the Happy Birthday from Cricut shapes and fonts.

not a great pic of the

Mailbox flower box card by Dreaming Tree

This is another svg file from Dreaming Tree. It is a mail box - flower box-card. So it folds sideways to go flat to fit into an envelope. It is quite easy to put together. I had a couple of extra flowers in my 'left overs' container so I added them in - the one on the right has a couple of roses added and the one on the left has a hydrangea flower left over from the Mothers Hydrangea file from Dreaming Tree.
Both of these just need sentiments added to them now - I will wait until I decide who to give them to and decide on the sentiment at that time.

Night before Pinkalicious 2016

well it is the night before Pinkalicious. Flo arrived here on Wednesday afternoon and we have been putting together the things we would like to do while there. I had to work yesterday morning and this morning so we have been busy during the afternoons.
Our household is a bit crazy at the moment - Flo here, the guys working all sorts of shifts night and day, I working mornings and new student arrived!! I have managed to vacuum the house (quickly), make the beds, do the laundry, load dishwasher and put the crock pot on ready for tomorrow nights dinner. To vacuum in this house is an experience as every time I walk out of my craft room little bits of cardstock seem to delight in coming with me, however they are not intent on staying on my shoes/slippers but jump off at varying places along the hall and lounge, even some of them attaching themselves to the cats. Little hearts, glittery bits, shapes of all sorts!!! I have even been know to find bits and pieces in my bed!!!
Well I am off to cut some more ready for tomorrow. Need to be up early in the morning.
will be back on here hopefully with some pics of how we do at Pinkalicious.

Saturday 7 May 2016

my post for today 8.5.16

It's Mothers Day today, I hope that all you mums out there are having a great time with your families. Family is sooooo important - near or far, it is wonderful that technology keeps us in contact with each other, and I have had lots of messages from afar.  I was taken out to lunch by my wonderful eldest daughter yesterday and it was sooo nice. As we are both really busy and work different shifts it is great to catch up when we can.
This morning I am on my cricut again trying out new things - will see how they turn out as to whether I put photos on here or not. It is a quiet day in our household, hubby at work and grandson sleeping - he is working nights so sleeps days. It gives me some time to potter in my craft room and give it a clean up ready for class's next week.

Went and saw the movie 'God's Not Dead 2" last week and am going again this afternoon with a friend - if you have not seen it do try and go - it is a great movie and well worth seeing - hence I am going for the 2nd time. I often feel that for me I get more out of a good movie when I see it again. It is based on a true story and these kind of movies always appeal to me. This is one that I will watch for the video to come out and purchase it.

Great grand son - 6 years old- had a teddy that he loves and unfortunately teddy lost an eye - I am ok with card crafts but no good with giving teddies new eyes, so off to my dear friend who knows everything about those sorts of things and yesterday we went and picked up teddy with a lovely new set of eyes!!! GGSon was soooo pleased and proud. A HUGH big thank you to Anne for a wonderful job and a happy little boy.

I have got (or at least borrowed from my sister) a soup maker. Well over the last couple of weeks it has run every single day!! what a wonderful machine! I spent an hour or so chopping up vegs of all sorts and popping them into containers in the fridge. I come out - take a handful of each veg and put into the Soup Maker, press the button and wha lar in 20 min I have a lovely meal. Soooo easy and sooo nice, especially on the nights that are a little cooler now. Oh and it also makes a great hot chocolate too!!

Question time: why is it that a parcel sent from Auckland to Palmerston North takes over a week and a parcel from UAE takes 3 days!!! Same going the other way - I sent a package to Rae and it takes about 4 - 5 weeks, she sends one to me and it takes 3 - 4 days!! how can that be?
I guess the main thing is that the package arrives in the end.
I am off to have a tidy up of my craft table now and cut some more from by beloved Cricut.
Hope you all have a lovely day.

MADGES NEWSLETTER
MAY 2016

Hi All,

Well I am on the ball this month – it is only 5th and I am onto the newsletter!! I am noticing that our weather is starting to get a little cooler some days – just letting us know that winter will not be far away, good time to be crafting.

I have been busy making the lovely swan cards for people for all sorts of occasions. Wedding, Christening etc. It is a lovely card, and I did one in pink and white for a Christening. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo. Have asked the person it was for if she could take a photo for me so will post it when I get it. I have also made a lovely gift box set which has MUM on it. As I do not have a mum to give it to I will probably re-cut the sides and make it a ‘for anyone’ set. Each box can contain a gift so it is quite lovely.

I have also been busy as a bee making cards and tags for Rae for the hospital in AbuDhabi – have another package ready to post off to her now.  I find it amazing that I post a foolscap size bubble wrap envelope to her and it takes 4 to 5 weeks for her to get it – she posts me a package with some lovely baby wear in it (similar size package to the one I sent her) and it arrives in 3 days!!!!! I think it would be quicker for me to fly over and give her our packages – of course the cost would be a little different ha ha.

Our May classes are going to be on the following days/nights and we will be making the – wait for it – yes the tool card!!! I know that lots of you have been waiting for this one to do.

May 2016:

Congratulations
Dale
Dale has won our  February/March “special gift” draw, for those who come two months in a row.

Coming up on the calendar:

Flo will be arriving on Wednesday 18th so anyone wanting any help with their Cricut or  just a catch up with Flo give me a call to make sure we are here and not ‘shopping’.  She will be leaving again on 22nd.

Don’t forget PINKALICIOUS on 21st May – this is a great day run by Margaret and raises money for Hospice.

Well it is time for me to go pack up Raes things and get them posted to her and to hopefully cut the box card that I would like to do.
I will post this newsletter on my blog which is : madgescreations.blogspot.co.nz so do follow me on there and comment – love to hear from you.

Blessings to you

hydrangea flowers

these are from the 'love you mum' bundle from 3d svg cuts.  the pink/yellow flowers I have cut from Artiste cartridge just to give a different flower. I think I would cut them slightly larger next time. happy with them both. Once I found a way of keeping the little flowers attached it worked ok.

Village evening

Last night I went to a Ladies Meeting to speak about card crafting and show some of the things that can be made. What a wonderful group of ladies, and such fun. A big thank you to Hilda and Shirley for inviting me the Village, and I do hope that you all had as much fun as I did.

I am in the process of unpacking everything now and getting ready for classes this week. I have put a pic up of the little Elephant treat boxes that we did this morning and will be doing tomorrow and Saturday.

Mr & Mrs Elephant - April class 2016

In our April classes we are making treat boxes, these to lovely boxes were made by two different ladies - however when we put them together to take a photo they looked so cute as a "couple". I decided to call the photo Mr & Mrs. Such fun to see how different each one turns out.

We will be making animal boxes at Wednesday, and Saturdays classes so hopefully I will get some more photos to display what the ladies make.

Well done ladies!!

opps with a swan card

hi all, it has been a busy week for me and this morning was going to be the only morning that I could have a 'sleep in' until 7am - normally I am up at 4.30am. What happened!!! the little kitten found a way of getting into the main house and from 4am this morning she ran up and down the hall way swooping into my bedroom to jump on the bed, bounce up and down and run out again, only to repeat this performance every 10 minutes until at 5.30am when I decided I had had enough and go up!! Tried to put her outside and locked cat-door but she has found some way of getting in. Will have to stay up and watch and find out how she is doing it.
Anyway, getting all ready for classes next week, have classes on Tue 12th through to Sat 16th.

I spent some time making a lovely swan card and was really pleased with how it turned out. Lesson learned though - I left it on my craft table - table got bumped - I was not in the room - card fell over - I had not closed an inkpad - card fell on corner of inkpad - card soaked up lots of orange ink. ahhhhh result: beautiful cream card with white swans and a large orange blob across one side and the back!! Lesson: make sure that inkpads are closed once finished with. I have taken a pic and tried to get it so that you cannot see the 'blog' so that you can see the lovely swans.

I am pleased with how it turned out (without the blob) so have made another one and will probably make some more making sure that they stay well away from inkpads.
I have put off getting an Cricut Explore, as I did not think that I would use it very much. Well one arrived and oh my have I used it HEAPS. In saying that I still use my E2 lots and sometimes have been know to have both of them going at the same time!!

I have also been dashing between showers to try and get washing dry as our dryer died several weeks ago and I was determine not to buy another one - well that went out the window when we almost ran out of clothes!! so yesterday thanks to Harvey Norman's sale I bought a new one and it has been in action since. Have young Zak with me today so we are off to Uncle Bills to get some sticker books for him to do.
will try and keep up to date with my blog from now one and would love to have some feed back and followers.

my blog 20.03.16

Thought it was time that I kept my blog a bit more up-to-date. I love being busy with my card classes and really enjoy the creations that come from the lovely ladies that come along. It never fails to amaze me how a number of people can be given exactly the same packs and come up with so many different creations - it is wonderful.
My days generally start around 4am so this is short as I need some sleep and still have a few things to do before going to bed.
I will try and keep this blog a little more up to date in the weeks to come.
blessings to you and thank you for reading /  following my blog.

Easter house

Easter house from Cre8ive Cuts. so easy to do and holds lots of eggs.
spent a lovely time making it with a friend.

NZ Dies - Tui - Kiwi cards

love NZ cards. the Kiwi card is made with the kiwi and fern dies from Scrapn Diez,
The Tui cards are made with the Tui die from the NZ Die collection, and the Kia Ora from the NZ stamp colection.  The ferns on the Tui card are stamped with the fern from the CTMH New Zealand stamp. All are excellent to use.
We have embossed the blue background card with the NZ embossing folders using the Koro folder on some and the New Zealand maps on another.
These make lovely cards for sending overseas.

Photo card

A photo box card we made in class. We used stamped, coloured images for our first attempts - now that they know how it all goes together it is a good way of giving a photo and card in one. I have done one with one of my great-grandsons in it and I just love it. will do this again soon.

Lattice card from Feb 2016

inside of card

We did this card in 2016 card class - thanks to Gay in ChCh for the inspiration. The lovely lattice pattern is cut with a die, though can be done by hand. the inside of the card has a pocket to place a gift card, voucher or money (notes). Be aware not to put money in it if you are going to post it. I am so proud of the ladies who come to my class's, they make amazing cards and the variation on the basic theme is great.

two cute baby cards

Two cute baby cards made in 2015 card class. these cards are made using 'cup cake wrappers'.

Triple heart card + tree card

cards made in September 2015 - the trees card is using Stampin Up stamp and punch - very easy to use - the triple heart card was done in our 'Thursday Class' and these are from two of the ladies and the cards are just waiting for the sentiments to be added. make great valentine cards, birthday cards and wedding cards. lovely to make and everyone turned out different with the particular occasion they had in mind.

July 2015 black and white card

hi, sometime since I have been on my blog so thought it was time to do a bit of a catch up. This card we did in our July 2015 card-class, it is done in black and white, however can be done with coloured flowers also. Some lovely cards were done by the ladies.
